The challenge of recovery requires bravery. In Step 4, you are asked to “make a searching and fearless written moral inventory of yourself,” although life often doesn’t provide the time, encouragement, and direction to complete this step. This weekend will help you move forward with your recovery. In this retreat, you’ll be led through the inventory process in a safe and supportive atmosphere, where you will have one-on-one guidance, peer support, and time for quiet reflection. The materials, exercises, and discussions will help you explore aspects of your character and their expression in your life journey.

” The Step 4 Workshop was my first experience at Easton Mountain, and it was the ideal setting to dig into my personal inventory. The quiet and intimacy of the retreat allowed me to make huge strides in my 12 Step work in a thoughtful, safe, and supportive atmosphere. The work has stood the test of life and time and provided a foundation to proceed through the rest of the steps” – J.B – past workshop participant

Easton Mountain is a community, retreat center, and sanctuary created by gay men as a gift to the world. Through workshops, programs, and events we provide opportunities to celebrate, heal, transform, and integrate body, mind, and spirit. Located just 35 miles north of Albany, NY, Easton Mountain is an easy trip by car, bus, train or plane from northeast cities. (We can arrange to have a volunteer pick you up from Albany)

The rates cover the costs of food and accommodations. If you this is a financial hardship, scholarships are available. The 12-step work is offered free of charge, but you may choose to add on a donation to support the work of Easton Mountain.
