**Presenting: Fierce, Fabulous & Free – Connecting to Your Body & Confidence** – Part 1: Sat, Oct 24th – 5pm/ Part 2: Sat, Oct 25th – 9am – Whether you’re a Bear, a Daddy, a Twink, a Chub, a Pup or a Gym Bunny these are all labels put on us or we have accepted because of the bodies we’re in. Instead of being labeled, what does it mean to be Fierce, Fabulous & Free?
Being unapologetically you sounds bold and sexy and is easy to say, yet away from the media and what is favored it’s hard to embody.
Getting caught up in social media’s pull will have you comparing your chest to some IG model’s pecks, or another guy’s hot thighs or ass to your own, when in all honesty, those same people may be going through issues of self-love too. Body shaming is something we all fall victim to. It can lead to low self-esteem/confidence, low self-worth, depression, anxiety and other negative behaviors.
It’s time you ignite your inner fierceness and create a positive relationship with your body! Let’s be real. It takes a certain level of fierceness to be a proud, gay man anyways, so let’s not stop there. It’s time to love all that we’ve got, inside and out. Join an intimate group of fabulous men from different walks of life as we support one another in declaring the power back from our bodies.
In Fierce, Fabulous and Free we will use visualization, writing and group work to:
- Connect your body and emotions to develop self-care practices
- Explore 5 ways to honor and love your body at any size, ability or complexity
- Create a system to combat inner gremlins and live in body empowerment
